Yolanda Araujo

April 3, 1975 — January 27, 2021

Yolanda was born to Mack and Josie Catano on April 3, 1975. She was a breech baby, so she literally hit the ground running. Even after she was diagnosed with cancer, she lived hard! You couldn't tell her bad days from the good ones, she always found her smile.

on January 27th, Yolanda lost her battle with cancer, surrounded by family. She won the fight and is now free of pain and reunited with her daughter.

She is survived by her husband Bino, her parents of the home, brothers Mike and wife Elizabeth, Eliseo, Israel and wife Leslie, sisters Priscilla and husband Tommy, and Carmen. She is tia to 13 nieces and newphews, 26 great nieces and newphews...and Yaya to the little ones. And her best friend, Teresa (Lala) who was with her till the very end. She was proceeded in death by her only child, Marisela Cristal Araujo.

A private viewing will be held Monday Feb 1st, 1pm-3pm for immediate family and 3pm-4pm for close family and friends at Terpening and Son Mortuary.

Services will be held Tuesday Feb 2nd, 9:30 at Our Lady Of Grace Catholic Church , Burial to follow at Woodbine Cemetary where she will laid to eternal rest next to her baby girl.

Carrying her to her final resting place will be, Gabriel Lopez ,CJ Lopez, Eliseo(Hoppa) Catano Jr, Skye Huerta, Max Vasquez, And Jessica Fuentes.

A special thanks to her Hospice team who worked carelessly to keep her comfortable until the end.
