Veronica Teel

A memorial service will be held at a later date for Veronica M. Teel of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Teel, 43, died on December 30, 2021 in Artesia.

Roy Haynes will officiate at the services. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Veronica was born on July 31, 1978 in Artesia; the daughter of Virgie Gonzales.
She was a lifelong resident of Artesia.

On October 27, she was married to T. J. Teel in 2012

Veronica's ambition in life was to be everywhere taking care of everything at the same time. She always made sure her girls had the best opportunities to be successful. Savana with swimming, Jessie in her new life venture at San Angelo State, Veronica was always there to make sure they had what they needed. Her family was her priority!
Her favorite passtimes were being where her girls needed her to be, enjoying her backyard, movies under the pergola and lets not forget pictures. From the backyard time to the simplest of popcorn & a movie on the couch, she was always taking pictures. We'd say without a doubt, her favorite passtime was to take pictures, even when noone was ready.

Aside from being the greatest of moms, she was an amazing wife, sister, daughter, auntie, and friend anyone could ask for.

Together Veronica and TJ could conquer the world!

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Ray and Mary Gonzales.

Survivors include her husband T. J. Teel; parents Virgie and Daniel Anaya; daughters Jessie Watts and Savana Watts; a sister Jennifer Butler and brother-n-law Gary Butler; and niece Haylee Butler and nephew Corbyn Butler.
