Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Woodbine Cemetery.

Buddy, age 76, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021 with loved ones by his side.

Larry Roland will officiate the services.

Buddy was born on September 10, 1944 in Carlsbad, NM to Claudius Galloway and Freda Jones. He graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1964.

On November 20, 1964, he married Aleta "Sherry" Galloway.

Buddy retired from the City of Carlsbad in 2009. He was a member of Trinity Temple Assembly of God and the Artesia Lions Club. Buddy was a loving, quick witted, strong willed man who loved his family very much. He was kind, funny and full of advice. When you needed a laugh, Buddy had a joke for you. If he didn't pick on you, that meant he didn't think much of you. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors.

Survivors include his daughter, Patricia Galloway; his brother, Rickey Galloway and wife Donna; his sister-in-law, Carla Galloway; his step-mother, Wanda Galloway; grandchildren Leisha, Jadian, Paul, Greg, Elizabeth and Kasey; great-grandchildren Mariah, R.J., Jathan, Cross, Tyrah, Janessa, Emily, Jadrian, Kingston, Wesley, Jace, Triana, Braleigh, and Lucas; and many beloved nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was proceeded in death by his parents; wife; daughter; two sisters; and brother.
