A gathering and time of sharing is scheduled for 2 pm Wednesday, April 20 at Terpening & Son Mortuary for Steven Kupcak of Artesia, New Mexico.
Mr. Kupcak, 67, died on April 14, 2022 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Cremation will take place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.
Steven was born on October 16, 1954 in Plainview, Texas; the son of Jacob Kupcak II and Clarice Stults Kupcak.
He was married to Lenora Philpott on January 16, 1981 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. She preceded him in death on February 4, 2010.
Steven was a truck driver for many years. He loved fishing, watching movies, reading Louis Lamour books and going out to eat.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Lucy Whitt.
He is survived by his daughter Janie Fugate; sons JonMichael Scott Ward and Steven Prescott; a sister Angel Hendricks; a brother Jacob Kupcak III; 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; and also by 9 nephews and 3 nieces.
