Sara Houghtaling

A memorial service is scheduled for 10 am Saturday, May 6 at Terpening & Son Chapel for Sara Beth Houghtaling of Artesia, New Mexico.

Ms. Houghtaling, 54, died on April 19, 2023 in Lubbock, Texas.

Ty Houghtaling will officiate at the services. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Sara was born November 21, 1968 in Roswell, New Mexico; the daughter of Andres Andrade and Irene Franco Andrade.

She was a bookkeeper and a member of the Elks Club D.O.E.S.

She was preceded in death by her father, husband Stephen Houghtaling, and a daughter Presli Smith.

Survivors include her mother Irene Andrade; sons Luke Davis and wife Samantha, and Colby Smith and wife Victoria Lynchesky; brothers Ramiro Andrade, and Andy Andrade; sister Rosemary Chavez; grandchildren Sawyer Davis, Leighton Davis, Camden Davis and Nori Davis.
