Robert Lee Reason Sr. was born February 20th 1942 to Emma Grace (Obenour) and George William Reason in Davenport, Iowa. He passed away peacefully on March 28th in his home.
He spent his childhood on the family farm near Keithsburg, Illinois.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Judy.
He is survived by his partner and friend, Carolyn Olson, brother Richard Reason, son Robert Reason Jr., step daughters, Karen Robinson, Cindy Herring, and daughter Renee Gothard, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
Robert was a talented pool player, horseshoe pitcher, shooting sports enthusiast, and lover of muscle cars and puppies. He got hired on to the railroad in the early 1970s and made a long career as an engineer finally retiring in 2003. He and Judy became full time RVers in 2006 and enjoyed several years of traveling before finally settling down in Hope, NM.
Per his wishes, there will be no memorial or graveside services.
