Mary Ann Cervantez Mendoza, Daughter of Refugio Cortez Cervantez and Eloisa Rede Villa Cervantez

Mary Ann was a strong woman with a bright beautifulsmile. A woman of faith who loved her family. She loved spending time outdoors. Gardening was her passion. She knew just what every plant and flower needed to thrive. Mary Ann spent time reading the word of our Lord, saying her prayers, and looking to the sky at night. These brought her peace and happiness behind her worry and pain. Of modest means, she gave what she could so that she could help someone else just a little more.

Grandchildren always have fond memories of their Grandparents.

I will forever cherish the memories we had together and seeing her light up when she sees chocolate cake!

My favorite memories are the times I spent with her as a kid. Just hanging out at the house together was fun. She would show me all of the new flowers that she planted, we’d watch one of her weird soap operas, and she’d always take me to McDonald’s for an M&M McFlurry.
