Lorrene Rodriguez

Services are scheduled at 2 pm Monday, August 30 at Harvest Fellowship for Lorrene M. Rodriguez of Artesia, New Mexico.

Lorrene, 53, gained her angel wings on August 25, 2021 in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Ronnie Williams will officiate the services with burial to follow at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Rodriguez, Jourdan Rodriguez, James Torrez, Juan Gomez, JJ Earl, and Galen Gomez. Honorary pallbearers will be, Witten and Zayven Rodriguez, Caleb Samora, Zach Garcia, Josh Garcia, Cameron Fleming, Junior Ruiz, Ernest Almanza, and Anthony Gomez. Visitation will be at Terpening & Son Mortuary from 2-6 pm on Sunday.

Lorrene was born on March 30, 1968 in Pueblo, Colorado; the daughter of Rev. James I. Aragon and Ruth Espinoza Aragon.

She was a loving Wife, Mother, and Mamaw. She was the nicest person you could meet and willing to help anyone at a drop of a hat. She enjoyed crafting and decorating for parties. Her biggest love was for her grandkids whom she called "Mamaw's precious angels". Not many people were aware of her talents. She would travel around singing gospel music with her father. She prayed for everyone on a daily basis. She prayed for her family every moment down to her last breath.

She was preceded in death by her father Rev. James I. Aragon. Mother-in-law and Father-in-Law, Roberto and Elvira Rodriguez, and Sister-in-Law Cindy Almanza.

Survivors include her husband Raul Rodriguez; daughter Amber Torrez and husband James of Artesia, NM; sons Robert Rodriguez and wife Sara of Roswell, NM, and Jourdan Rodriguez and wife Kaylee of Artesia NM; mother Ruth E. Swingle and husband Bill; sister Kim Gomez and Husband Anthony of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren Taylan Torrez, Morrene Rodriguez, Witten Rodriguez and Zayven Rodriguez. Honorary Parents Harold and Barbra Parish of Artesia, NM who thought of her as their own.

The family has asked that you wear bright colors as this is a celebration of her life. Masks wearing would be appreciated.
