A memorial service will be held at Terpening and Son's chapel at 2:00 PM, Monday September 26th, 2022 for Justin Michael Mansell of Carlsbad, New Mexico. Rob Ballew will be officiating.
Justin Mansell, 30 died on September 13, in Carlsbad.
Justin was born on August 13, 1992, in Altus, Oklahoma.
Justin was adopted by his beloved mother and father, James and Delores on July 22, 1999. Justin grew up in Artesia where he attended Artesia High School. Justin was so much more than his struggles. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, reading Harry Potter and traveling with his family in his younger years. He loved spending time with his Uncle J.D. talking and learning about the Bible. Justin never knew a stranger and would always make you feel welcomed. He loved wholeheartedly and would do anything for the people who accepted him as he was. Anyone that truly knew him, knew he had such a big heart. He'd give you anything even the shirt off his back. He loved fiercely and deeply, and we take comfort in knowing that Justin is now at peace surrounded by light.
Survivors include his parents James and Delores Mansell; a nephew Kevin Michael Mansell; special aunt and uncle J.D. and Wilma Brannan; his fiancé Keri H. Cook of Carlsbad; numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his brother Bruce Mansell, grandmothers Faye Antee and Jewel Turner, and by grandfathers R. M. Pierce and C.G. Mansell.
