Services are scheduled for 10 am Monday, February 6, at Terpening & Son Chapel for Esa Hernandez Perez of Artesia, New Mexico.
Mr. Perez, 74, died on January 29, 2023 in El Paso, Texas.
Burial will be at Woodbine Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation will be at Terpening & Son Mortuary on Sunday from 2 to 6 pm.
Esa was born on June 3, 1948 in Artesia; the son of Santiago Cantu Perez and Juanita Hernandez Perez.
on April 23, 1970, he was married to Edna Morrizon in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
Esa played football for the Artesia Bulldogs during high school. He enjoyed lifting weights, playing soccer, playing games with kids of all ages, going on walks. He was easy going and friends with everyone.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Pete Perez, and sisters Lupe Grado and Anita Delgado.
Survivors include his wife Edna Perez; a son Fermin Perez and wife Cynthia; brothers Tony Perez and Urbano Perez; a sister Sofia Saiz; grandsons Joseph and Andrew; step-grandchildren Arianna Ramos and Adriana Ramos.
