He was born May 5, 1949 in Seminole, Texas to Harold and Mildred Husselman. On December 31, 1977 he was married to the love of his life Nancy Poindexter.

Butch Husselman is survived by his beautiful wife Nancy of the family home, Son David Husselman and daughter in love Danielle, Daughter LaShelle Fletcher and son in law Lane, Grandchildren Harli, Arrie Yannah, Zaphaera, Whispen, Buddy, Caitlin, Matthew, and Anissa, bonus grandchildren, Tyler Danessa, and Demrie, great-granddaughter Demorie, A daughter Joylene, who he loved very much and didn't go a day without thinking of her. Brother, Jimmie Husselman and wife Lois, Numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family, and last but not least, Rambo, his furry friend of 18 years. He loved his family so much.

Butch was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Billy Husselman. In September he lost his best friend Honey, who had loyally stayed right by his side through his cancer battle, I guess she had to get to Heaven first so she could be there to greet him when his time came.

Butch spent many years driving a truck over the road and eventually found himself a true passion in the oilfield where he dedicated almost 50 years of his life. From driving and pushing trucks and working with his son, to doing flowback and working with his son in law, we are certain he had oil running through his veins. He was a hard worker and gave his all in everything he did. Even telling his stories. If you ever ran into him in the field, you would hear his stories. Lots and lots of stories. He was so full of wisdom and he always wanted to share that.

His hobbies were fishing, hunting, reading, taking country drives, telling stories, cooking out, and hanging out with his family. He was a kid at heart and he made life fun.

He was a wonderful husband, father, uncle, friend, and most of all he was the greatest Papa. Out of all the things he did in his life, being a Papa was his favorite. His grandchildren were the light of his life. He was a big ole teddy bear and he loved them so much.

He created a beautiful legacy and we are going to miss him more than words can ever say.
