Andres Azua

Andy Azua, an electrician apprentice at Dean's Electric, passed away on March 27, 2021, after being involved in a vehicle accident in Ruidoso, New Mexico.

Andy was a resident of Artesia, New Mexico since 2005 and was constantly involved with the community and participated in numerous sports throughout his high school career.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Amado Zepeda.
Survivors include his parents Jesse and Sandy Azua; his son Noah Azua; brother Jesse Azua Jr.; sister Laura Azua; maternal grandmother Luisa Zepeda; paternal grandparents Carlos and Celia Azua; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was born on September 27, 1996 in El Paso, Texas.

Andy was a devoted father to his son Noah Azua and lived a life full of creativity. Whether it was making music in his studio, throwing a painting party with his friends, or working on clothing designs, he was constantly finding a way to express himself through these passions. To know Andy was to know laughter, kindness, joy, and sincerity; those are only a few words used to describe such his unique and beautiful personality inside and out. He provided all those around him with memories to last a lifetime and his presence will be missed by all.

Andy Azua Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, April 1, 2021, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Andres Azua of Artesia, New Mexico.

Visitation will be at Terpening & Son Mortuary from 12 pm - 5 pm on Thursday and 10 am to 5 pm on Friday. The pallbearers and honorary pallbearers include Jesse Azua Jr, Avery Huitron, Santiago Morillon, Aaron Dees, Gino Lopez, Elvis Acosta, Daniel Gamboa, Manuel Reza, Joey Lopez, and Jrae Hernandez.
Fr. Vijay will officiate at the services. Cremation will follow the services under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.
