Alice Jones

February 6, 1936 — January 25, 2021

Alice Earlene Jones, a beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother went home to be with the lord on January 25, 2021 in Artesia, New Mexico. She had such a sweet soul and everyone who knew her loved her spirit and knew how much she loved her Lord and Savior.

Earlene was born February 6, 1936 in Shreveport, Louisiana, the daughter of Hillard and Vinnie Stewart. Earlene had one brother and two sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert Stewart, sisters Louise Roberts and Bobby Jean Stewart.

Earlene married Bobby Lynn Jones on May 29, 1952, who also preceded her in death on May 4, 1997.

Survivors include son Randy Jones and wife Carroll Jones of Kerrville, Texas; daughter Cindy Bloomer and husband Andy Bloomer of Brandon, Mississippi and daughter Leslie Pinson and husband Chuck Pinson of Artesia, New Mexico. Grandchildren Mandi and Joel Martin of San Angelo, TX; Cody Jones of Fredericksburg, TX; Maranda Mobley and Braze McClain of Austin, TX; Justine and Landry Thompson of Kerrville, TX; Erika and Nolan Henderson of Boerne, TX; Chad and Brie Jones of Houston TX; Chase and Emily Jones of Fredericksburg, TX; Braxton and Chelsea White of Kerrville, TX and Shawni Pinson of Las Cruces, NM. Earlene had nine great grandchildren, including Easton and Madisyn Martin, Zoey and Urijah White, Laramie and Levi Thompson, Maddox and Paxon Henderson and Cash Preece and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for the Good Life facility, the staff and the Hospice nurses in Artesia, NM who took such good care of our mother.

Memorial graveside services will be held at a later date in the spring at Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, TX for the immediate family.

In lieu of flowers the family recommends memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in support of a cure of this devastating disease.

As our precious mother would always say ……….. “ALL IS WELL.
