Wanda Lee

Services are scheduled for 2 pm Monday, November 13, at Terpening & Son Mortuary for Wanda Ellen Lee of Artesia, NM.

Ms. Lee, 94, died on November 8, 2023 in Artesia.

Ty Houghtalin will officiate at the services. Burial will be at the Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis, New Mexico.

Wanda was born on September 21, 1929 in Clovis, New Mexico; the daughter of Robert E. Lee and Grace Wanda Temple Lee.

Wanda came to Artesia in 1952 from Knox City, Texas. She taught at the Artesia High School for 31 years before retiring. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Artesia, the Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority, and also the Retired Teacher's Association of Artesia and New Mexico.
