Thomas Nathan Giles

A viewing will be held for Thomas Nathan Giles from 2:00-6:00 pm on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Terpening & Son Chapel. The funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Terpening & Son Chapel with internment to follow at Woodbine Cemetery.

Honored to be pallbearers are Miguel Rodriguez, Aaron Kasper, Damian Hernandez, Aaron Dees, Rafael Aguilera and Cley Montes. Honorary pallbearers are his best friend Jessie Hilliard, Lonnie Giles, Charles Giles, Shawn Smith, Tommy Lairson, Bruce Hopper, Mark Dziamski & John DuCharm.

Tommy peacefully passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on October 31, 1946, in Artesia, NM to Otho and Mary (Gaylord) Giles.

Tom loved fishing, hunting, spending time outdoors, reading and shooting. He loved Lobo basketball, often attending their tournaments in Las Vegas. Tommy was quite the sharpshooter, having won several matched and awards.

Tommy was a civil contractor and owned Giles Construction (now Giles Incorporated) from 1988-2010. He had a very creative mind and could fix just about anything. Truly a man of many talents.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Steven Giles and daughter, Lynn Giles.

Those left to carry on his memory and legacy are his wife, Zeneth Giles, brother, Lonnie Giles, sons Lee (Cathy) Slape, Thomas Sidney (Stephanie) Giles, grandchildren Alyssa (Aaron) Kasper, Tristen (Miguel) Rodriguez, Shelby (Aaron Dees) Giles, Maggie (Kole Hulett) Giles, Macy (Jrae) Hernandez and Morgan Gutierrez. Great-grandchildren, Grimm & Kimber Kasper, Leona & Brody Dees and Myles Hernandez.
