Graveside services are scheduled at 10:00 A.M. Friday, October 1 at Woodbine Cemetery for former Artesia resident Thelma Irene Brown of Fayetteville, Arkansas. PMrs. Brown, 99, died Sunday, September 26, 2004 in Fayetteville. Mrs. Brown was born July 2, 1905 in Creston, Iowa; the daughter of Jacob Harvey and Cora Tilton Jones Harvey. PShe was a member of First Baptist Church in Fayetteville. PMrs. Brown was preceded in death by four brothers.
Survivors include daughters Jackie B. Stahman of Fayetteville and Mary Rothwell of Bolinas, Calif.; a sister Nola Phillips of Gallup, N.M.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
