Sergio Rubio

Funeral services are scheduled for 9:30 am Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Our Lady Of Grace Catholic Church for Sergio Ruben Rubio of Tatum, New Mexico.

Visitation will be held at Terpening & Sons Mortuary on Tuesday, October 25,2022 from 1pm - 6pm.

Mr. Rubio, 28, was called home October 14, 2022 in Pecos, TX.

Fr. Vijaya & Deacon Rodriguez will officiate at the services. Burial will follow the services at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Luis Magallanes, Armando Acosta, Gilbert Silva, Jordan Cabello, Pedro Morales, Gilbert Gonzalez, Jose Ibanez, Carlos Martinez Jr., Robert Martinez, Jonas Martinez, Ramon Ayala and Ismael Porras Jr. Honarary Pallbearers will be Samantha Romero & Mezmerize Martinez.

Sergio was born June 23, 1994 in Carlsbad NM to Sergio & Patricia Rubio. He was raised in Artesia before moving to Tatum.

Sergio was a Tatum High School graduate where he participated in Football, Basketball & Track.
He was always the life of the party no matter where he went and loved making people laugh. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and picking on his nephews every chance he got.

He was a Driller for H&P Drilling and loved his life on the rig.

Sergio is survived by his mother Patricia Rubio; Daughters Durrani Lucero Rubio & Selene Belem Rubio and his unborn son. Brothers Carlos Martinez (Micaella) & Jose Ibanez and sister Angelica Martinez. 3 nephews, 1 niece and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. His best friend Luis Magallanes, and his H&P Drilling Family.

He was preceded in by his sister Lucero Rubio in 2015 and his father Sergio Rubio in 2018.
