Sandra Bell Boulden passed away on 7/14/2026 following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on March 27, 1947, in Dallas, Oregon, to John and Eva (Newson) Neel, Sandra lived a life defined by creativity, warmth, and an unwavering devotion to her loved ones.
She was lovingly supported throughout her life by her husband, William C.A. Boulden, with whom she proudly celebrated sixty years of marriage on July 15, 2026.
Sandra's family was the true heart and center of her world. She cherished her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmother, taking immense pride in the joys and triumphs of her family. Beyond her home, Sandra found great happiness in expressing her creativity through the artwork she loved creating and sharing laughter over games of bridge with her dear friends.
She is survived by her beloved husband, William C.A. Boulden; her sons, Craig Boulden of Artesia, NM, and Chad Boulden (and his wife, Kelly) of Weatherford, TX. Sandra's memory will be forever treasured by her five grandchildren: four grandsons, Conner, Marcus, Caden, and Colin, and one granddaughter, Rory. She also leaves behind her three brothers, Bruce Neel (Alayson Young), John Neel Jr. (Tammy Neel), and Doug Neel (Diana Neel) of Artesia, NM, as well as her sister-in-law, Loretta Hicks of San Angelo, TX.
Her family and friends will forever remember her kindness, her thoughtful nature, and the unconditional love she so freely gave to those around her. Sandra's legacy will live on in the beautiful art she left behind and the indelible mark she left on the hearts of all who knew her.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate Sandra's life will be held at Terpening & Son Mortuary on August 1st, 2026 at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Sandra's memory to the Artesia Arts Council.
