Graveside services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 7, at Southpark Cemetery in Roswell, N.M. for Samuel Lara, Jr., of Dexter, New Mexico. Jesus Herrera will officiate at the services with burial at Southpark Cemetery, Roswell, N.M. Infant Lara was born December 3, 2006 in Artesia, New Mexico; the son of Samuel Lara and Angela Franco. Survivors include his parents Samuel Lara of Artesia, and Angela Franco of Dexter, N.M.; maternal grandparents Maximino and Olivia Franco of Dexter; paternal grandparents Santos and Elena Lara of Roswell, N.M.; brother Xavier Lara of Dexter.
