Rusty Young

Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, August 3, at Trinity Temple Assembly of God for Rusty Young of Artesia, N.M.

Mr. Young, 40, died Monday, July 30, 2018 at his home.

Bobby Argo will officiate at the services with burial to follow at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be all of Rusty's uncles, cousins, and nephews.

Rusty was born January 26, 1978 in Roswell, New Mexico; the son of Bill Young and Frances Smith Young. He was a lifelong resident of Artesia.

He was a pumper in the oil field. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, his guitar and playing music, loved country music and most of all he loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Curly and Flo Smith.

Survivors include his parents Bill and Frances Young; a twin brother Dusty Young and wife Tiffany of Nixa, Missouri; a sister Angie Young and Eric Stevens of Ruidoso, New Mexico; nephews Kobe Young, Kayden Young and Alex Stevens; nieces Destiny Young and Kaydee Buckelew; paternal grandparents Wesley and Charline Scrimshire of Okemah, Oklahoma; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
