Rosemary Barrera

With sadness in our hearts and gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we celebrate the passing of our wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandma-Rosemary Gonzales Barrera.

Born on July 30, 1951 who left us peacefully on November 25, 2025 at the age of 74.

She is survived by husband Manuel Barrera and children Vanessa Orosco Fisher (and husband Luther and children Noah, Kameron and Allix), Candice Orosco Barrera (husband Ramon (Boy) and children Nathan and Jake), and Andrew Orosco (and wife Lisa and children Analise and Breana), Tabitha Mitchum (daughter Taylor), Scott Barrera (children Scotty and Emma), Mandy Barrera Campos (children Justin, Alex and Gabby).

She is also survived by her siblings: Lina Smith (John), Nancy Jimenez, Debbie Juarez (David), Cathy Moor (Jim), Emilio Jr. (Susan), and Christi Gonzales as well as countless nieces and nephews who will always cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents Emilio and Rachel Gonzales, and sister Patsy Perez.

She touched many lives with kindness, generosity and quiet strength. Whether through a warm smile, a gentle word or a simple act of care, she made the world brighter for those around her.

She will be remembered for her love of reading, her special tortilla-making classes with her grandchildren, her gift for making personalized inspirational cards that became her signature way of showing love and her deep and unwavering faith that was an example to us all.

The soft essence of winter candy apple, her signature fragrance, will forever linger in our memories – sweet, bright, and a mistakenly her. We will miss our earthly angel, but her beautiful legacy will be a light that will continue to shine bright in our hearts and in our lives every day.
