Private family services were held for Robert Ray "Bobby" Duncan Sr. of Artesia, New Mexico.
Mr. Duncan, 75, died on December 12, 2021 at his home in Artesia.
Bobby was born on April 30, 1946 in Artesia; the son of Garland Chancey Duncan and Mabel Clara Tice Duncan. He was a longtime Artesia resident.
On April 25, 1966 he was married to Divina Stone in Juarez, Mexico.
Butch was a supervisor for the City Street Department. He was also a volunteer fireman, volunteer with the Sheriffs's Department. He was a truck driver, a crafter and could make or fix just about anything. He enjoyed cowboying, anything outdoors and was a true jack of all trades and master of none.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Divina, two brothers, two sisters and a grandson Kenneth Wayne Duncan Jr.
Survivors include his sons Robert Ray Duncan Jr., and Kenneth Wayne Duncan; a daughter Jackie Norton; sisters Gene Octoberg, Oleta Aker and Doris Dees; grandchildren Levi Ray V. Duncan, Alice Duncan, Cheyenne Duncan, Terrah LaKay Sanchez, Kristopher Box, Bobbi Box and Mykell McNeil; and also by 25 great-grandchildren.
