Raymundo N. Juarez, age 72, passed away on December 4, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on March 14, 1953, in Artesia, New Mexico, also lived in Clovis, NM, Miami, TX and Hobbs, NM proudly calling each his home.

Raymundo was a loving husband, devoted father, cherished grandfather, and beloved brother and uncle. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lydia Juarez; his children, Daniel Juarez, Marcos Juarez (Anna), and Teresa Juarez Chavez (Kenneth); his daughter in love Angelica and his treasured grandchildren, Nathaniel Juarez, Kealy Juarez, Marcos Juarez Jr. (McKenzie), Mikaela Juarez, Matthew Juarez, Jacob Chavez (Nia), Bryana Juarez (Caleb), and Benjamin Chavez (Lorin), and great grand children Elsa, Emmie, Evelynn, and Olivia each of whom brought him immense pride and joy.He is also survived by his siblings: Virginia Villalva (Carlos), Delia Briseno (Ruben), Rosa Briseno, Grace Arnold, Richard Juarez (Laura), and Jose Juarez (Natasha). 

Raymundo was preceded in death by his parents, Eloisa and Hilardo Juarez, whom he lovingly referred to as his Mami and Deri; his brothers, Frankie Juarez, Paul Juarez, and Hilardo “Lalo” Juarez Jr.; and other precious nieces, nephews, and family members who welcomed him home.

From March of 1973 until his retirement in 2008, Raymundo dedicated his professional life to serving others through his work with SPS and Excel Energy, where he held roles as a Journeyman, Lineman, Foreman, Supervisor and Manager 2. His strong work ethic and leadership earned him the respect of coworkers and the communities he served. In addition, he proudly served as a volunteer fireman for over 20 years, always willing to help whenever he was needed.

Raymundo’s life was rooted in family, service, and joy. He loved hunting, fishing, and golfing, coached both baseball and softball helping take multiple All-star teams to state and regional championships, an accomplishment he cherished deeply. A lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, he rarely missed a chance to cheer on his team. Known for his warm heart and contagious smile, he truly knew no strangers—never turning anyone away and always putting others before himself. To his grandchildren, he was a proud and loving Popo, whose presence made every gathering brighter.

A memorial service will be held on January 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Temple, located at 1507 W. Hermosa, Artesia, NM 88210. Services being officiated by his brother in law Michael Dominguez. Raymundo N. Juarez will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for his generosity, strength, and unwavering love for his family and community. His legacy lives on in the many lives he touched.
