Ray Bratcher

Graveside services are scheduled at 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 2, at Woodbine Cemetery for Ray Dean Bratcher, Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Bratcher, 61, died Saturday, September 28, 2002 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. Mr. Bratcher was born May 27, 1941 in Silver City, New Mexico; the son of Clyde Jewel Bratcher and Madeline Engle Bratcher. He was a lifelong resident of Artesia. He was a driller for L M Drilling and member of the Moose Lodge, Elks Lodge, and was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Marylin White.. Survivors include son Kenneth Ray Bratcher of Artesia; daughter Lisa R. Wilde of Cloudcroft, NM; brothers Clyde Bratcher of Pleasanton, Texas, Robert Bratcher of Artesia, Wayne Bratcher of Hope, NM; sister: Rose Crenshaw of Artesia; six grandchildren.
