Rafael Hernandez

Memorial graveside services are scheduled at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 21, at Woodbine Cemetery for Rafael Delgado Hernandez of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Hernandez, 50, died Monday, April 14, 2014 at his home.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening Son.

Rafael was born October 23, 1963 in Artesia, New Mexico the son of Jovita D. Delgado Hernandez. He was a lifelong Artesia resident.

He was a laborer and did many jobs in the oil fields.

Survivors include his daughter Christina Fuentez of Portales, N.M. sons Guadalupe Hernandez of Portales, David Bridgeman of Mounds, Oklahoma, Ernesto Purdy of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Alfonso Hernandez of Artesia, and Reymundo Chavez of Artesia numerous brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, and cousins and 12 grandchildren.
