Paul Franco

A virtual memorial service will be held for Paul B. Franco of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Franco, 79, died on January 21, 2022 at his home in Artesia.

Paul was born on May 26, 1942 in Shafter, Texas; the son of Ramiro Franco and Manuela Bihl. He was married to Mary Acosta on September 18, 1959 in Pecos, Texas.

He was a foreman for the NMSU Agriculture Experiment Station in Artesia. He was a member and Elder of the Jehovah Witness. Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing, preaching, gardening and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Cruz Franco and a sister Maria Villareal.

Survivors include his wife Mary Franco; daughters Sandra Grado, and Sylvia Lopour; a brother Manuel Franco; a sister Rosa Franco; and also by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
