Paul Mariscal Alvarez

Paul M. Alvarez, devoted follower of Jesus Christ, went home to his Father's house on May 11, 2026. Far too soon for all who loved him, yet perfectly in God's timing.

Paul loved his Lord deeply and lived his life in service to others. He cherished his family, his church family, and the many wonderful clients and friends he came to know throughout his years as the owner of Roselawn Barber Shop.

Paul was a devoted husband and father, a faithful son, a loving brother, a wonderful uncle, and a dear friend to countless people. He was known for his generous spirit, listening ear, and willingness to help anyone in need. His kindness made people feel seen, welcomed, and cared for.

He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he proudly served for four years and attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. He later continued his service as a Staff Sergeant in the Army Reserve.

Paul was laid to rest on May 15, 2026, in Artesia. The service was officiated by his beloved pastor and dear friend, Jason.

When remembering Paul, may he always be remembered as a loyal friend with a compassionate ear, an exceptional brother, a helping hand, and most of all, a giving heart. His faith, warmth, and love for others will continue to live on in all who knew him.
