Graveside services are scheduled for 10 am Wednesday, November 10, at Twin Oaks Memorial Park for Patricia Mary Everett of Artesia, New Mexico.
Mrs. Everett, 94, died on November 3, 2021 at her home in Artesia.
Patricia was born on September 8, 1927 in York,Yorkshire, England; the daughter of William Storr and Martha Ann Hood. She was married to Ernest Austin Everett on February 23, 1957 in York, England.
She was a longtime resident of Artesia and also lived in Ft. Worth, Texas.
She worked in a chocolate factory before WWII and inspected periscope glass during the war.
She worked at the Artesia Public Schools cafeteria at Park Elementary and also at the Townhouse Cafeteria. She was a bookkeeper for many years. She was a Rebecca Sister.
She enjoyed many crafts including knitting, crochet, cross-stitch and plastic canvas.
She enjoyed making hand-made gifts for friends and family.
She loved her many cats over the years.
She is survived by her son Lloyd Everett and wife Cindy; by a niece Barbara Clark; and a sister-in-law Wanda Truett.
