In Loving Memory of Pamela K. Lewis

Pamela K. Lewis was born on April 16, 1950, in Annapolis, Maryland, to James L. Wyatt, Sr. and Deloris M. Gunion Wyatt.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Woodbine Cemetery. Officiating will be Jason Kraft.

She married Thomas D. Lewis on June 29, 1968, in Frankfort, Indiana. On August 1, 1978, she and her family moved to Artesia, New Mexico, where they made their home.

She was a loving homemaker and devoted mother who dedicated herself to raising her four children. Earlier in her life, she worked at a laundry mat and at the Root Beer Stand in Frankfort, Indiana. After moving to Artesia, she managed the Hank Street Apartments for several years.

She loved spending time outdoors and enjoyed camping and fishing. She was also an avid sewer and crafter who found joy in creating things for her family. One of her favorite pastimes was riding on the back of a motorcycle with her beloved husband.

Her family was the center of her world, and she will be remembered for the love, support, and care she gave to those around her. She leaves behind a legacy that will continue through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas D. Lewis; her children, Shirley Gail and her husband Russ, Rix D. Lewis and his wife Joyce, and Jamie L. Lewis and his wife Cheryl; and her bonus daughter, Jimi, and her children Amber and Kayla. She is also survived by her sister, Kim Blackburn and her husband Paul Sr.

She leave behind her grandchildren Candice, Tiffany, Megan, Deonne, Catie, Emma, Nicholas, Michael, Katherine and Victoria;
her great-grandchildren BreAnna, Joseph, Lance, Braden, Austin, Trenton, Blayke, Keaton, and Nolan; and her great-great-grandchildren Gracelynn and Kayson.
She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James L. Wyatt Sr. and Deloris M. Gunion Wyatt; her brother, James Wyatt Jr.; and her son, Thomas D. Lewis II, along with her daughter-in-law, Anna Lewis, and nephews Paul V. Blackburn Jr. and Eric L. Blackburn.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on through the family she cherished, the memories she created, and the love she gave so freely.
