Ofelia Aguirre

Graveside services are scheduled at 2:30 P.M. Saturday, December 21 at Woodbine Cemetery for Ofelia M. Aguirre of Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. Aguirre, 57, died Wednesday, December 18, 2002 at her home. Father Richard Lifrak will officiate at the services. Cremation has taken place. Mrs. Aguirre was born April 9, 1945 in Chihuahua, Mexico; the daughter of Francisco Meza and Maria Melendez Meza. She came to Artesia in 1981 from Chihuahua, Mexico. She was a housewife and member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; by a daughter Dina Aguirre; and by one brother. Survivors include sons Luis Aguirre of Juarez, Mexico, Tito Aguirre of Artesia, Hugo Aguirre of Artesia, Saul Aguirre of Fayetteville, N.C., and Inez Aguirre of Lubbock, Texas; daughters Dora Aguirre of Artesia and Lila Quintana of Artesia; brothers Bias Meza and Heriberto Meza both of Chihuahua; sisters Antonia Meza and Gregoria Meza both of Chihuahua; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
