Michelle was born December 14, 1965 in Bakersfield, California the daughter of Bill Britton and Phyllis Lakey Britton. She was a lifelong Artesia resident.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandmother.

Survivors include her son Justin Britton of Artesia aunt Wilma Lakey of Artesia brother Robert Britton of Sour Lake, Texas cousin Stephanie Scrimshire of Artesia some nephews, a niece and numerous cousins. Preceded in death by her parents and a grand mother.

She will forever be remembered for her sense of humor, her great smile, and her love for her family and friends.
