Medina Scrimshire

Graveside services are scheduled at 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 15, at Woodbine Cemetery for Medina Delores Scrimshire, 1402 Gilchrist Ave., Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. Scrimshire, 56, died Friday, September 12, 2003 at Artesia Good Samaritan Center. J.T. Ross will officiate at the services. Mrs. Scrimshire was born December 25, 1946 in Artesia, New Mexico; the daughter of Tod Downs and Irene Stone Downs. She was a lifelong resident of Artesia. She owned and operated Old West Burgers and was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her mother Irene Downs of Artesia; daughters Deby Sisk of El Dorado, Arkansas, and Tammy Conley of Iraan, Texas; brother Covan Downs of Artesia; sisters Barbara Collins of Canyon, Texas and Lillian Henderson of Peyton, Colorado; 5 grandchildren Staysha, Destry, Ashlynn, Brandi and Kevin.
