Mary Collier

Mary L. Collier passed away on April 23, 2021 at Good Life Assisted Living and Memory Care in Artesia, NM. She was surrounded by love and peacefully went to her eternal home with Jesus.

Mary was a member of First Baptist Church in Artesia, NM for 60 years. She was a P.E.O, Chapter J, and a past member of the Yucca Porcelain China Painting Club while a resident of Roswell, NM.

Mary Louise Redus Collier was born on August 2, 1927, in Laurel, Mississippi to Jefferson D. Redus and Madge Bunch Redus. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of 59 years, David C. Collier, four brothers and only sister. She is survived by her children, Mary C. Moore, Las Vegas, NV, Timothy D. Collier, Artesia, NM, and Chuck and Monica Morgan, Mayhill, NM. Also her six grandchildren, Stirling Spencer, Chris Spencer, Cara Collier Corley, David C. Collier, Kari Morgan McNicoll, Lydia Morgan Driver and their families including seven great-grandchildren. Also, numerous nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends.

The family wishes to express their profound thanks for the love and care given to Mary by the staff (family) at Good Life and from Encompass Hospice. She was blessed daily by their kindness, compassion and love.

Mary L. Collier will be cremated and buried at Twin Oaks Memorial Park, Artesia, NM. In her own words, "I want no service because I will be home with my Lord and heavenly family, waiting for you." Her wishes will be honored.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, Artesia, NM or Good Life Assisted Living and Memory Care, Artesia, NM or the charity of your choice.
