Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 pm on Wednesday December 27th at Faith Baptist Church in Artesia New Mexico with a burial to follow at the Woodbine Cemetery for Lance Michael Pacheco. Pallbearers will be Chris Aguilar, Shane Shearman, Cody Carter, Sergio Chavez, Jesse Nelson, Timmy Smith, and Quinton Champion.

Lance Michael Pacheco was born on December 12th 1983 in Carlsbad New Mexico to Kenny Pacheco and Shonda (McCarrell) Poe.

Lance was a graduate of Artesia High School where he excelled in several sports as an Artesia Bulldog. Lance was a proud Bulldog where many bonds and lifelong friendships were made. He was a state champion Bulldog in the year 2000 in baseball for Artesia High. He was also a state champion in football at Artesia High in the year 2001. He was a gifted athlete with an extremely hard work ethic to become better everyday. 
After High School Lance received a Bachelors degree in Psychology at the University of the Southwest. 

Lance had three sons the D BOYS Daelon, Destin, and Arian Damoni (Money) Pacheco. They were his world. He coached all three boys for many years in every sport they participated in. Sports were life and he passed down his work ethic to his boys. They loved to hunt, fish and attend Major league baseball games and Tampa Bay Buccaneers football games. 

Lance was a huge Fan of the Oakland A's and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. You could always bet he would be watching the games or catching the highlights on ESPN after every game. 

Lance was a great man with an extremely huge heart that was always ready and willing to help anyone at any time. He was a role model for his boys and a true inspiration to all of his family and friends. 

Lance will be extremely missed by so many. We all know Lance will be looking out for everyone he loved from heaven and as he always said "I GOT YOUR BACK"

Lance is preceded in death by His grandparents Bill and Sandra McCarrell, and Leo and Norma Pacheco. 

Survivors include his three sons Dealon Pacheco, Destin Pacheco, and Arian Damoni (Money) Pacheco. His mother Shonda Poe, His Father Kenny Pacheco, his stepmother Barbara Pacheco, his brother Kellen Pacheco, and niece Kaydence Pacheco. His Uncle Cory McCarrell, Aunt Martha McCarrell, Uncle Artie Pacheco, Aunt Kathy Ambrose, Aunt Karen Pacheco, and many cousins.
