Kevin Smith

Services are scheduled at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 22 at West Main Baptist Church for Kevin L. Smith, Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Smith, 36, died Monday, August 19, 2002 in Artesia. Rev. J. Mark Robinson will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff Smith, Chris Smith, Todd Reynolds, Pat Reynolds, Randy Taylor, Rodney Smith, Bob Walters, Mark Walters, James Millard, Barry Pearson and Scotty Stall. Kevin was born April 13, 1966 in Artesia; the son of Carlton L. Smith and Donna L. Taylor Smith. He was a refrigeration technician and member of West Main Baptist Church. Survivors include his father Carlton Smith of Artesia; his mother Donna Burns of Albuquerque, N.M.; a son Joshua Lee Smith of Artesia; a daughter Chelsi Jean Smith of Artesia; a brother Donnie Smith of Artesia; a sister Carri Howes of Artesia; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
