Judy Yates

A memorial graveside service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, February 18, at Woodbine Cemetery, Artesia, New Mexico for Judy Ann Yates.

Mrs. Yates, 72, died on February 14, 2022 in Roswell, New Mexico.

Mike Prude will officiate at the services.

Judy was born on March 11, 1949 in Artesia; the daughter of Preston Means and Alma Tidwell Means.  She was a longtime resident of Artesia.

On September 18, 1967 she was married to Jerry Yates.  He preceded her in death on July 9, 2020.

Judy was office manager for Andrews Pump before retiring.  She enjoyed traveling , spending time with her family and taking care of her home.

She was preceded by her parents, and a daughter Melissa Ann Jorren.

Survivors include her son Gene Yates; a sister Peggy Letcher; grandchildren Kolton, Kinsley, Megan and Sydney; and great-grandchildren Eastyn and Hudson.
