Services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 25,, at PMr. Chavez, 26, died Tuesday, January 20, 2010 in Dallas.
PCremation will take place under the direction of Terpening amp Son Mortuary. Pallbearers will be Aaron Chavez, Lino M. Bustamante, John Rodriguez, Carlos Rodriguez, Epie Jr. Bustamante, and Enrique Bustamante.
PMr. Chavez was born October 13, 1982 in Albuquerque, New Mexico the son of Joe F. Chavez and Mary L. Bustamante Chavez.
PHe was a lifelong Artesia resident moving to Dallas in 2007.
PHe was a Senior Information Technology Engineer for Holly Corporation.
PSurvivors include parents Joe and Mary Chavez of Artesia longtime friend Melanie Rodriguez daughter Allisin Gaige Chavez of Artesia and brother Aaron Joseph Chavez.P
