Joshua Garcia

Services are scheduled for 10 am Wednesday, November 12, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church for Joshua Michael Garcia of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Garcia, 42, died on November 7, 2025 in Roswell, New Mexico.

Fr. Frances Lazer will officiate at the services. Burial will follow the services at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Zach Garcia, R.J. Rodriguez, James Torrez, Caleb Samora, Juan Gomez, and Aurelio Ruiz, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Raul Rodriguez, Jourdan Rodriguez, Ayden Gomez, Cameron Fleming, David Florez, Chris DeLeon, Sarah Owens, Kelly Soto, Chad Johnson, Austyn Franco, and Kaycen Samora.

. A visitation will be from 9 to 9:30 am on Wednesday at St. Anthony's. A rosary will follow at 9:30 am.

Joshua was born on August 17, 1983 in Artesia; the son of Vicente Garcia and Jeanie Rodriguez Garcia.

He was the life of the party, yet so full of life. Joshua didn't know a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand. His smile could light up a room and his laugh was infectious. He will be missed dearly but we know he's walking, talking, and living his best life in Heaven with our loved ones who have also passed. We know they opened their arms, welcoming him into the Kingdom of Heaven.

He was preceded in death by his father Vicente Garcia, grandparents Roberto and Elvira Rodriguez, and Erminia Tesillo, and aunt Cindy Almanza.

Survivors include his mother Jeanie Garcia; brother Zachary Garcia; sister Alyssa Garcia; aunts Terry Rodriguez and Selena Garcia; and by uncle Raul Rodriguez.
