Joseph Jerry Elliott was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, on January 13, 1986, and went home to be with his Lord on September 24, 2026, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Since Joseph came into our family he quickly became a beloved and delightful part of our lives. He was filled with energy, curiosity, and an endless supply of questions. Joseph had a smile and personality that could light up a room, and he brought a unique joy to those who knew and loved him.

He was a great brother to Isaac. Like many brothers, they had their moments and sometimes fought, but beneath it all was a bond that could not be broken. They would always fight fearlessly for one another. Joseph was also a faithful friend who stood up for the people he cared about and was always willing to stand beside his friends.

Joseph graduated from Artesia High School in 2005. During his adult years, he worked in various construction jobs and was known for his hard work and determination.

Joseph leaves behind his parents, Michael and JoAnne Elliott; his brother, Isaac Elliott; his nieces, Xochil Elliott and Alexia Fernandez; his great-niece, Zeyva Fernandez; and his great- nephews, Zyrus and Xerox Cruz. He is also survived by many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and others whose lives he touched.

Joseph will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His memory will remain in the hearts of those who loved him, and we take comfort in knowing that he is now home with his Lord.

The family will hold a private service.
