George Rincon

A viewing will be held for Jorge "George" Rincon at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Terpening & Son Chapel, with a funeral service to immediately follow at 2:00 pm. Burial will be at Woodbine Cemetery. Officiating will be Jesse Rincon and Blanca Carrasco.

George, 96, passed away on August 25, 2025, in Rio Rancho. He was born on April 23, 1929 to Francisco and Elvira (Campos) Rincon in Anthony, TX. He married Celia Rincon in December, 1951. He was an Artesia resident since 1956. George worked as farm laborer until he retired. He loved his family, loved farm work - the outdoors, loved his church, loved God. George always had a great sense of humor.

George is preceded in death by his wife, Celia Rincon; his grandson, Edgar Guerrero.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children: Oralia (Danny) Jackson, Irene Guzman, George Rincon Jr., Jesse (Patty) Rincon, Odelia (Roy) Gurrola. Also part of his immediate family are: 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 6 great, great grandchildren. His surviving sisters: Trinidad Alvidrez, Juana Vazquez, Rosario Cardona.
