John Schoonmaker, 81, beloved Father, Son, and Grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on February 18, 2024.
He entered this world on June 16, 1942 in Beard, NM, born to Joachim and Mona Schoonmaker.
He is survived by his daughter Michelle Thomas; daughter Lynn Selby; son Raymond Brown; daughter Ruth Wakeland; daughter Jody Houghtaling; son Milo Schoonmaker; 14 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren.
John served as a Police Officer in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico before moving to Artesia, New Mexico in 1982 and working in the Oil Field.
Services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Twin Oaks Memorial Park.
