John Mcdill Iii

A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, January 28, at First Evangelical Presbyterian Church for John Wesley McDill III of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. McDill, 60, died on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at his home.

Daniel Phelps will officiate at the services. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

John was born on February 3, 1956 in Artesia; the son of John Wesley McDill Jr., and Bernie Navarrette McDill.

He was married to Helena Jacquez on March 6, 1996 in Artesia

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Survivors include his wife Helena of Artesia; father John Wesley McDill Jr of Artesia; sons John McDill IV of Artesia and Mark-Matthew W. McDill of Artesia; sisters Lita Reser of Firestone Colorado and Chris McDill of Longmont, Colorado; grandfather John W. McDill of Boon, Michigan.
