Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Twin Oaks Memorial Park in Artesia for former long time Artesia resident Jimmy Davis of Midland, Texas
Jimmy was born on April 11, 1935 in Levelland, Texas to Alice Till Davis and Wilburn Clarence Davis. He departed this life on November 27, 2018 in Midland, Texas.
He married Virginia Alexander in Carlsbad, NM on March 18, 1955 and lived most of his adult life in Artesia, New Mexico.
He is survived by his sons Jimmy Davis, Jr. and wife Kim, of Midland, Texas and Michael and wife Rhonda of Kerrville, Texas. He is also survived by grandaughters Jenny Davis and Lindsey Jones, grandsons Lance Davis, Joey Davis and Matt Davis, great grandaughters Carrie Davis, Lyla Davis and Ashley Jones and great grandsons Jude Davis, EJ Davis, Conor Davis and Tyler Jones. He is also survived by sisters Jackie Midkiff of Midland, Texas and Vickie Jo Rodriguez of Santa Fe, NM and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Virginia.
