He joined the United States Navy in 1948, at the age of 17, and served 4 years on board the U.S.S. Arnold J. Isbell. He enjoyed spending time with his former shipmates at ship reunions held around the country.

husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He lived up to his guiding Bible verse, Joshua 24:15, " for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

He was preceded in death by his parents, step-parents Pearl Leah Miller Pollock and Ray
Victor Falls, sister Thelma Geraldine Fry (Jerry) and her husband Press, son Jimmie Neal
Pollock, Jr., and great-grandchildren Addyson Mae and Robert Henry Swafford.
