Jesse Dale "JD" Caple

Graveside services are scheduled for Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 2 pm at Woodbine Cemetery for Jesse Caple, who passed away on Wednesday, September 20th. Jesse was born in Roswell, NM to Dorothy and Richard Caple.

He is survived by his wife Shirley Caple of Artesia, brothers Randy Caple of Roswell, Kip White of Killeen, Tx, daughters Jessica Caple, Jennifer Caple and Janise Andrews of Roswell, NM, 11 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy, father Richard, stepfather Jim White and sister Teadra White.

Jesse served his country in the US Marine Corps. He was employed by LH Operating as a Lease Operator and spent many years working in the oilfield where he was known as JD. He loved his animals and working around his small farm. Jesse always had a funny joke or story to tell and loved teasing people especially the girls. He will be missed by all.

Pallbearers will be William Dornan, Jimmy Collins, Joey Dodge, Rodney Miller, Tito Quezada and John Collins.
