Jeremy Taylor

A memorial service is scheduled for 2 pm Wednesday, June 26 at Terpening & Son Mortuary for Jeremy Scott Taylor.

Mr. Taylor, 45, died on June 22, 2024 in Artesia, New Mexico.

Jimmy Hamilton will officiate for the services. Cremation will take place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Jeremy was born on January 17, 1979 in Artesia; the son of Robert Jud Taylor and Barbara Jean Lopez.

On December 7, 2023 he was married to Esther Rainey in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

He enjoyed working on cars, being outside, helping people whenever needed, remodeling his home and spending time with his brother. 

He was preceded in death by his father, and great-grandparents Julia and Enrique Armendariz.

Survivors include his wife Esther Taylor; mother Barbie Lopez; brothers Joshua Jon Taylor, and Brian Taylor; sisters LeAndrea Orquiz, Kendra Ruiz and Robbie Taylor; and also by grandparents Minnie and Dyrell Mooter.
