Services will be held at Terpening & Son Mortuary in Artesia, NM on June 24, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. for Jarrod Scott Richardson who passed away June 13, 2026 at the age of 46. Jarrod was born on April 23, 1980 to Donna Marsh and Terry Richardson.

Jarrod was a beloved son, father, brother, friend, uncle, nephew, cousin and loved one whose life touched many people. He was known for his kindness, sense of humor, generous spirit, and the love he carried for his family and friends. While his journey was often difficult, it never diminished his capacity to love. He faced challenges that many could not see and fought battles that were often difficult and painful.

Jarrod loved bigger and more deeply than anyone we knew. He had a generous heart that longed for connection, understanding, and acceptance. Those who truly knew him experienced a kindness and compassion that left a lasting impression. Despite the hardships he faced, he continued to care deeply for others and found joy in the relationships he cherished.

While we grieve the loss of his physical presence, we find comfort in knowing that his struggles have ended and that he is now at peace. His life reminds us to lead with compassion, to offer understanding instead of judgment, and to love one another unconditionally.

Jarrod loved NASCAR, Texas Longhorns – Hook ‘Em, Riding horses and in younger years, riding dirt bikes, four-wheelers and camping. But nothing compared to the love he had for his daughters.

Jarrod was preceded in death by his father, Terry Richardson and Grandparents, Harry & Bette Clark, Ted Marsh, Ralph & Fern Richardson.
