A rosary followed by a funeral service will be held for Ivan Aguirre at 9:30 am on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Family will be receiving friends at the public viewing from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Terpening & Son Chapel. Burial will immediately follow the funeral service at Woodbine Cemetery.
Ivan's artistic spirit shone through in his love for drawing and sketching, offering a glimpse into the vibrant world as he saw it. His enthusiasm for working out was evident in his impressive progress, inspiring those around him to remain committed to their goals. Ivan was not just a dedicated truck driver; he was a dependable worker who took great care of his equipment, embodying a strong sense of responsibility.
As a devoted father, he cherished every moment spent with his sons, Evan and Diego, and brought joy and laughter wherever he went. He had an innate ability to bring fun into every moment spent with his family, reminding all to celebrate the little things in life. Known as the life of the party, Ivan radiated warmth and laughter, making any gathering memorable. Ivan was known for his immense kindness and humble nature.
Ivan is preceded by his mom, Silvia Aguirre; grandmother, Lusmila Barraza; aunts, Elva Aguirre and Chole Aguirre; and uncle Guerreros Aguirre.
Those left to cherish his memory and carry on his legacy are his sons, Evan and Diego Aguirre; father, Jesus Aguirre and wife, Blanca Aguirre; brother, Jesus Arturo Aguirre; sister, Silvia Velo; father-in-law, Orlando Lopez; along with 3 nieces and 1 nephew.
Ivan was a great father, amazing brother, and a loving son. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him!
