Isaiah (Ike, Zaya, Zaybo, Ezel, Izelis) Mathew DeHoyos, 34 of Artesia NM.
Isaiah Mathew DeHoyos, went to be with the Lord on September 27, 2020 in Lubbock, Texas. Isaiah was born January 27, 1986 to Albert and Yolanda DeHoyos in Carlsbad, NM. He was a 10 pound baby nick named the ‘refrigerator’. Biggest of four boys Isaiah was raised in Artesia, NM and graduated from Artesia High School in 2005. He was a proud member of the Bulldog Football and Bulldog Baseball programs. He went on to play baseball in Garden City, Kansas for 2 years
He is survived by his fiance Allison Herrera, daughter Ariah Rose DeHoyos His parents Albert and Yolanda DeHoyos His brother Michael DeHoyos, his two kids Eli DeHoyos and Carly DeHoyos His brother Vincent James DeHoyos, his wife Elisha DeHoyos, and their three kids Gian-James DeHoyos, Liam-Jakoby DeHoyos, and Avalyn-Joy DeHoyos His baby brother Albert DeHoyos, his wife Mikayla DeHoyos, and their three kids Roman DeHoyos, Mila DeHoyos, and Hezekiah DeHoyos. AND many many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Isaiah loved his family with all his heart. He had a heart of Gold. He loved and adored his daughter with all his heart. Ike was an avid sports fan. He loved watching baseball, football, and basketball. He dreamed of winning millions playing fantasy sports. He was one of kind and loved by many. He was tough as a lion, hugged like a bear, and lived as a free bird.
A viewing will be held Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 2pm-4pm at Terpening & Sons in Artesia, NM Funeral Services will be held Friday October 2, 2020 at 10am at the Harvest Fellowship Church in Artesia with burial to follow at Woodbine Cemetery. The Family request everyone attending to practice Social Distancing, Wear a Mask, Send Plants not Flowers and WEAR ANYTHING SPORTS.
