Gregory Leary
March 12, 1959 — September 4, 2015
Memorial services are scheduled at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, September 10, at the Artesia Fairgrounds for Gregory Keith Leary of Artesia, New Mexico.
Mr. Leary, 56, died Friday, September 4, 2015 at his home.
Karl McDonald will officiate at the services. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.
Gregory was born March 12, 1959 in Baltimore Maryland; the son of Joseph Leary and Ruth (Butler) Leary. He came to Artesia in 1976 from Kansas.
On November 16, 2002 he was married to Yolanda Ward in Artesia.
Gregory was a Construction Supervisor in the oil fields and was a member of Jehovah Witness. He true loves were his family and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his spouse Yolanda Leary of the family home; daughter Bridget Leary of Artesia; sons Stephen Losoya and wife Iris of Decatur Texas, and Devin Leary of Artesia; and brother Kurt Hesslegrave of Brunswick, Georgia.
